My name is Kusal Goonewardena and I'm the Chief Physiotherapist at Vigor Sports Medicine Clinics.
I have run the 3 Sports Med Clinics for 8 years now and i am looking at expanding our services to the eastern suburbs.
The plan is to reproduce our standard of Physiotherapy, Work ethos, Customer Care and our high standard of achieving excellent results to those who cannot access us in the West.

The Vigor Sports Medicine Clinics are well established Physiotherapy Clinics known for providing great Physiotherapy services for its Sports, Orthopaedic, Geriatric, Pediatric and Chronic pain patients throughout Melton and Bacchus Marsh.
Currently we have 9 Physiotherapy staff and 6 Reception staff across the 3 clinics.
We're growing fast and we're looking for you to help us so we can continue to prosper. |

Next your position...
You'll be involved in all aspects of Physiotherapy and patient/client care.
You also must be able to work on your own, and within a team environment.

- Six private Clinical Rooms
So we're looking for some physio 'guns' to come in and join us in the fun and the work of growing our clinics.
The Number of Positions open:
We are looking at employing 4 Full time Physiotherapists only.
The Work Hours will be...
All weekdays including 2 evening sessions per week. and alternate Saturday morning shifts.
Clinic will be open from 7.30 am till 7.30 pm
Total Hours: 38 hours
If you would like to join our team as a Physiotherapist there are two remuneration options available for you:
Option 1: Join as an employee and get paid a salary. This will be 40% of Patient Earnings - Including Superannuation.
Option 2: If you have your own ABN, you can be paid in the capacity of a sub-contractor (40% + GST).
And of course once you've started you'll have a 3 month probationary period for you to get to know us, and for us to get to know you.
We follow a Tiered Fee Structure For Our Clients. It will be similar to the following.
Tier 1: General Physiotherapist (New Graduates - 6 yrs Experience)
Tier 2: General Physiotherapist (More than 6 yrs Experience)
Tier 3: Titled Physiotherapist (Masters Completed)
Tier 4: Consultant Physiotherapist (F.A.C.P or Equivalent)
All Appts 30 min. This is at the treating Physiotherapists discretion.
New graduates will begin at 60 minutes.
Perks...Holiday Pay...And Extras
- There will be an offer for 4 Weeks Holiday Pay. Payable after 12 months of work.
- Earn for items you give your patients: 10% of Fees generated when you sell goods (tape, braces, linaments, thera-tube, tubigrip etc) will be paid to you on top of your commission.
New Graduate Program/Professional Development
- In your 1st year you will receive around $4000 which will go towards your RM training and Ridgway Method Level 1 course*

- After the 2nd year you will be given the opportunity to complete your Masters in Sports Physiotherapy or Masters in Manipulative Physiotherapy** whilst working - all paid for by Vigor Sports Medicine Clinics.
* and ** conditions apply.
- In-House PD will also occur weekly (This will be with Kusal Goonewardena, APA Sports Physiotherapist)- this will include patient discussions, case studies, research topics and latest treatment techniques.
- Full staff inservices which brings together all the Physiotherapists will also occur every month.
